The Edmonton Examiner Reviews Glowing Performance:

Despite its name, The Drowsy Chaperone should keep audiences wide awake and entertained.
“It’s actually a musical within a comedy,” director Max Reimer says. “The (character) Man in Chair tells the story of a 20s musical (that) actually materializes before the eyes of the audience.”  According to Reimer, The Drowsy Chaperone is about a showgirl that is getting married but she and the groom are both getting cold feet. In fear of losing the showgirl in the entertainment industry, gangsters try to stop the wedding.

“There’s an intelligence behind it, and the more you know about musical theatre, the more you love it,” he says.

The Citadel’s production of the show also includes three local actors – Julien Arnold, John Ullyatt, and Susan Gilmour. Reimer has returned to the city where he says it all started.

Realty Diva shares her sizzling secrets for buying your home!

Congratulations you sexy beautiful thing you!   Guess whose here to help you take a load off. Your very own Sassy Realty Diva!

Take those stilettos off, put your feet up, and enjoy!

1. First: Are you really ready??? Owning a home takes a lot of time, emotional, physical, and financial care!    It’s quite the plunge and planning it right can be one of the most Diva smart things you will ever invest in!

2. Do YOURSELF A BIG DIVA FAVOR. Figure out your monthly budget and the costs associated with owning your home and living. Do you have a DOWN PAYMENT? Can we talk?   I’m sassy enough to say get a Certified Financial Planner and premarital counseling to start this process, you‘re worth it!  Prevention is better than fixing a big mess later! And that’s what True Divas do!  Using your smarts makes you ultra sexy!

3. So now that you’re Diva Determined, you can and want to own your very own home, now what you need are some professionals to look after you! Did you know that Savvy Diva’s have a network of consultants?  Psst..  GET PRE-APPROVED FIRST!  This means giving your work documents to your mortgage broker, getting your credit checked and all your ducks in a row before you go shopping. This prevents a lot of headache!

4. Choose a Realtor who is professional, likable, gets your style, listens to you and has your trust.  If it takes meeting a few than do! It’s a big deal and you deserve someone who takes your life seriously!  It has to be a good fit so you have the best experience possible!  It’s all about You Miss Diva!  This is big!

5. Pick the house that speaks to you!  Your gut will speak to you too!  Follow it!  Surf the net… Send your favorites to Your Very Own Realtor, and then go look at them! This is the FUN part! No one should be talking you into purchasing or selling you on a home. A good Realtor will look after, educate, and help you get the home you love! That’s the Diva difference!

6. Psst….You need to bring your check book with you when shopping for a house. It serves as your DEPOSIT and goes with your Offer to Purchase. This is different than your down payment.  It comes off the Purchase Price and is usually cashed right away! Don’t be surprised at making an offer then receiving a counter offer. This is quite normal.  And you NEED AN INSPECTION!  I insist!  Smart Diva’s spend the time to get to know their homes. Inspections do just that!

7.Start Packing!  Psst… Book your moving van after lunch! Rarely do we see keys released beforehand.  Now the exciting part of making your house a home!!  Design away!

If you have questions or need someone to walk you through this exciting process, don’t hesitate to contact me! I’m here for you!

Your Realty Diva,
Michele
