Laurel & Christopher
June 16, 2012
It was the most incredible day of my life, the day my bestfriend, lover and soulmate proposed to me.
We both are very passionate for golf, so one day he took me to Saskatchewan’s Elk Ridge Resort. We were planning on playing 18 holes of golf on our favourite course. As we were playing I noticed that there was no one in sight, usually there are other golfers in front and behind us. As we were on the 9th green, my fiance stopped, got down on one knee and proposed. He had champange and flowers set up on the hole. It was beautiful!
As we we were walking over to the champange two ladies popped out of the bushed and took beautiful engagement pictures of us. It was incredible. We hopped into our cart with our champage and drove around everyone was congratulating us. Apparently we were the first engagement ever at Elk Ridge, and the whole resort and all the golfers golfing that day were in on it. We then attempted to play the next 9 holes, but i was way too excited to even think about playing golf. We turned around, went to the hotel and sat on the deck drinking wine and talking about how he had planned the whole thing. It was the best day of my life, and it was completely unforgettable.

Look glamourous and feel fierce for your wedding day! The dress above was recently featured at Christian Siriano’s fashion show during New York fashion week . . . and I must say that it is the perfect combination of fashion forward femininity, unconventional colour, poise, and fearless confidence.
Every bride should feel their most fabulous for their wedding day, so don’t feel restricted by conventional wedding gown styles. With Christiano Siriano’s touch of couture on wedding gowns, his dresses (and pant suits) definitely help to break down the boundaries of wedding fashion for females!
