Incredible Engagement Stories - Kristen & Serge
Here is one crowd stopping engagement:
Kristen & Serge
March 09, 2011
It was New Years Eve in New York City at Time Square about 5 minutes after mid night. We were in a crowd of over 1 million people, confetti was flying through the sky, fire works had just went off, Frank Sinatra New York, New York playing in the background.
We were on the corner of 46th & Broadway, as we started to walk away from the crowd, me leading the way practically at a run (it was cold & raining), just a few short steps later, I feel a tap on my shoulder as Serge probably struggling to catch up with me, so I turn around to see him and he is actually down on one knee behind me with ring box open with a diamond ring.
Surprised & in tears, I forgot about the crowd of 1 million people around us as I listened to Serge ask me to marry him.
Onlookers stopped to watch & take pictures & videos, as we hugged & kissed in crowds of people. I had quickly forgot about the cold weather & rain & was all smiles on our twenty minute walk back to our hotel. I didn’t even feel the cold rain.
