Bridal Fantasy would like to ring in the New Year by thanking everybody that have helped make 2010 such a great year! Our anniversary edition of Bridal Fantasy Magazine is coming out soon and all our bridal shows have been a success. Thank you!

If you’re still unsure about how to ring in the New Year tonight, not to fret, there lots to do! Here’s a list of different events happening around Edmonton:

• Alcohol-free downtown party at Churchill Square, 7 p.m. to midnight (enjoy the fireworks).
• International New Year’s Eve Gala at the Edmonton Expo Centre, 7 p.m. to 3 a.m.
• Family Beach Ball at West Edmonton Mall’s World Waterpark, 6 p.m. to midnight.
• Three-course dinner and choice of show at Northlands Park, 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.
• The Knight is Young — A Medieval New Year’s at Muttart Conservatory, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
• Family concert at McDougall Church, 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
• Jazz New Year’s Eve and Latin New Year’s Eve at the Delta Edmonton South, 5:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
• Night At The Y sleepover for six to 14-year-olds at the Castledowns YMCA, 6 p.m. to 10 a.m.
• Most bars and pubs will be hosting their own New Year’s Eve bashes.
• On Jan. 1, there’s the annual New Year’s Day Levee at Government House.

Antipasti and prosecco . . . what a simple yet scrumptious idea!

Tonia from Itty Bitty Impact recently blogged about her wedding and the unique antipasti pot-luck that she had at her wedding. After seeing all of the gorgeous photos from her wedding, Bridal Fantasy couldn’t help but share with everyone else all of her great wedding ideas!

Coming at number five we have Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz. The couple looked both carefree and in bliss on their wedding in Corsica, France. Alicia Keys’ Vera Wang Grecian styled wedding dress was simple yet elegant and was perfect for her Mediterranean destination wedding. The couple’s friend, famed spiritualist Deepak Chopra, officiated the ceremony!

4. Nicole Richie & Joel Madden

After having two beautiful kids, Harlow and Sparrow, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden finally tied the knot this year. Nicole Richie looked healthy and fit, and was just glowing with joy on her wedding day! Bridal Fantasy loves Richie’s Marchesa wedding gown and we particularly liked the embroidered “Nicole Richie & Joel Madden” on her lace sleeve.

3. Chelsea Clinton & Marc Mezvinsky

Chelsea Clinton looked giddy with happiness and Marc looked head over heels in love! After watching Chelsea grow up in the spotlight alongside her father for so many years, Bridal Fantasy is just so happy to see Chelsea so happy on her wedding day. We must say Vera Wang . . . your dresses never cease to amaze us and you did such an amazing job with Chelsea’s strapless silk organza wedding gown. Her belt was the perfect finishing touch.

2. Hilary Duff & Mike Comrie

Hilary Duff looked simply stunning on her wedding day and her handsome Edmontonian NHL star husband Mike Comrie was all smiles. And her wedding dress! The silhouette! Duff’s gorgeous Vera Wang gown was flawlessly complimenting of her curves and the train is just breathtaking.

1. Carrie Underwood & Mike Fisher

Carrie earns our number one spot for her sparkly, Southern wedding. Bridal Fantasy was overjoyed to see all the beautiful wedding photos of country sweet heart Carrie Underwood and NHL star Mick Fisher. Underwood looked just like a princess in her Chantilly lace and silk organza Monique Lhuillier wedding gown!
