What a great January to start off the 2011 year. After all the long hours that all the Bridal Fantasy staff and amazing Bridal Fantasy Edmonton Exhibitors put in for the show, the pay off was literally RECORD BREAKING!

With the highest attendance number ever, the most exhibitors ever, and the best fashion show we’ve had yet . . . Bridal Fantasy Edmonton 2011 blew away everyone’s expectations.

Each year, the bar continues to be raised for this amazing event and we couldn’t be anymore happier with how successful Bridal Fantasy has gone this year! And after seeing and hearing Gail Vaz-Oxlade live on our fashion show stage, we must say that she was truly a sensation and a genuinely beautiful person inside and out. Gail was just amazing with all her fans at the show and there was actually a non-stop line up for her book signing.

Bridal Fantasy Edmonton, Western Canada’s Largest One-Day Bridal Show is on January 23, 2011 at The Edmonton Expo Centre. Doors open for the morning show at 9:30 am, with the fashion show at 11:30 am. The afternoon show starts at 1:30 pm with the fashion show at 3:00 pm.

Brides who attend the show will receive a FREE Bridal Fantasy Wedding Planner & Survival Guide (a $14.95 value) and a FREE copy of the newest issue of the Bridal Fantasy Magazine (a $6.95 value). Tickets are only $20 for this amazing show!

Christa & Ryan - 06/11/11

Ryan and I met in 1997 at College. I attended for 2 years and during that time I didn’t really have the time of day for Ryan. He was Sarcastic and Cocky and I was pretencious and snooty. We went our seperate ways until 2004 when we met up at a mutual friends wedding. We ended up staying at the same place and spend the day of the wedding together as our other friends were working. We had a great day spitting cherry seed over a dam in Calgary.  We again went our seperate ways.  For 10 years Ryan and I lived 45 minutes apart but never connected. I moved to Edmonton in 2006 for a job. It wasn’t until September of 2009 when Ryan Moved up to Edmonton for school that we finally reconnected. We were two different people compared to who we were over 13 years ago when we first met. We started hanging out more and more. I often thought he was a great guy and would be a good catch but quickly dismissed any romantic thoughts because I never thought he would ever be interested in me. One night he called to hang out. He gave me a list of ideas of things we could do. One of them was go star gazing. I thought nothing of it and thought it was an innocent thing to do. So we headed out of the city to look at the stars. Little did I know that in Ryan’s head he was thinking, ‘If she picks star gazing she is into me”.  So as we lay under the stars talking about who knows what, next thing I know Ryan asks to hold my hand. Totally caught off guard and not sure what to say I said, “Why? Are you hands cold?”.  We proceeded to talk more about him liking me etc etc. I started getting really cold and my teeth were chattering really bad. I tried to say my teeth were chattering but in all the nervousness and cold I said, ” My lips are cold” to which you could only imagine his reply! ANYWAY! long story short we are now getting married June 11, 2011. We often have moments where we can’t believe that we are getting married to each other. We could have never imagined our world colliding like this. It is a beautiful thing.
