Ahh, the Royal Wedding. If you’re anything like us and you can’t get enough of the juicy tidbits and updates flooding our lives, there’s yet another treat to make your eyes go wide- the Royal Guest List!

We were dying to know who would be attending this spectacular occasion! With over 1900 expected guests, you can rest assured that the who’s who of Royalty, celebrities, and politics are sure to grace the categories of those attending. In addition to the British Royal Family, Royalty from foreign circles of Greece, Malaysia, Denmark, Morocco, Yugoslavia, Swaziland, Spain, and Bahrain, amongst others…. (We weren’t even aware that many of these countries had royalty!)

Many religious leaders, political icons and business executives make up the remaining list of guests. The official category list of attendees consists of members of the Royal Family, members of Foreign Royal Families, Dignitaries, members of government, Parliament and devolved administrations, Representatives from the Church and other Faiths, Senior Members of the Defence Services, and other guests make up the remaining category that includes many celebrities. Some of the requested patrons include Mario Testino, Rowan Atkinson, Joss Stone, and Ian Thorpe to a list that already included Elton John, the Beckhams, and Guy Ritchie.

As far as political figures go, only the Commonwealth countries were included.  Over 50 countries make up the Commonwealth of Nations, including Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. And since the United States are not part of this group, you guessed it, the Obamas are out.

Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Phillip, Prince Charles and Camilla, and Prince Harry will be seated at the front row, on one side of the Royal Couple to be. The Middleton family will be seated on the other side of course. Princess Diana’s family will be seated at the front with the Middletons, while the remaining 1000 guests will be seated behind the prime view spots. At a shindig of epic proportions like this one, we think ANY seat is a good one! Friday cannot get here soon enough!
