Site 6 Summit Showcase

Tuesday, September 20th, 2011

On September 9th, we were fortunate enough to attend the launch party for Site 6 Events, a new company in Edmonton that specializes in event, fabric and visual solutions. The launch took place at the TransAlta Arts Barn and featured delicious food by Restaurant 27 Catering, flipbooks by Timewise Event Management, as well as music provided by Harman B & DJ Kwake. The spotlight however was taken by the amazing visual environment created by Site 6 Events and collaborating partners such as: Production Lighting, Mediaco, La Piazza Dasee, Pinkpolka Wedding Design, Rivercity Event Rentals, Elegant Touches, Special Event Rentals, Etc Event Styling, and last but not least ID Bohemia.

The venue was split into two themes, summer and midnight. See below for some pictures of the unbelievable work:

Thanks to Karen Hoogland and team for putting on an amazing event. We can’t wait to see the work you do in the future!

Day Two of Bridal Fantasy Magazine’s Photo Shoot!

Wednesday, August 25th, 2010

It was day two of Bridal Fantasy Magazine’s gown and beauty shoot and Bridal Fantasy rocked the Elton John Costume on the Bridal Fantasy Magazine set!

Today was all about high fashion poses, no-limits imagination, and couture dresses. The fabulous costume from “Love Lies Bleeding,” the Elton John ballet performance by Alberta Ballet, helped to push the crew’s inspiration to the next level. Kelley McKinlay was the star of today’s photo shoot as he rocked the costume and joined various models adorned in lavish bridal gowns and jewelry by Aine Carlisle (photos of Aine Carlisle jewelry to be posted soon).

On top of that, the shoot featured custom designed sets by Christina Ignacio-Deines of ID Bohemia (www.idbohemia.com) which truly contributed to our “Fantasy” theme!
